Right after I posted the Labor Day well wishes, I was reading through my daily news cruise, and I found this. (Click Here for Article)
Evidently, in a small town in Texas a bar owner was about to open up a bar next to a church. The church people banded together and began praying that the bar would be unable to open. So on the night before the opening of the bar, a lightning bolt struck the church, and the building burnt down.
On first hearing, the church congregation was rather smug about the news saying prayer works. And then, the bar owner decides to sue the church congregation claiming they were responsible for his inability to open his business.
HOW CRAZY IS THIS?
By the time the case made it to court, and the judge reviewed the documents, he was quoted as saying, "“I don’t know how I’m going to decide this, but as it appears from the
paperwork, we have a bar owner who believes in the power of prayer, and
an entire church congregation that doesn’t.”
So the congregation started running from the power of prayer once they thought they might be sued for participating in calling on God to help them. HAHAHAHAH!!!
How in the world is this one going to be decided?
Are we going to have the right to sue God now?
HAHAH!! I can't stop laughing. This is AWESOME!
Hope you enjoy for your Labor Day weekend follies.
Oh…and…see you on Tuesday.
