Who Do You Hate?

Jewish rabbi Kanevsky 300

It's no secret.

It's no surprise.

It's a wonderful revealing when Jesus was confronted by the lawyer written about in Luke 10.  He was conveniently searching for a way to draw the confrontation of Jesus' message to the people, but rather; he received one of the most important parables in history.

It's the parable of the Good Samaritan.

The Man who stopped in the middle of the road to help the other in distress, yea, you remember.  Right?

Well, I'm taking the form of the lawyer today.

This morning in the middle of the capital city, I'm becoming the lawyer.

Pulling from my theater roots, I'm planning on telling the story of the good Samaritan through the eyes of the lawyer.  Remember…the story has little to do with stopping on the side of the road to help people.  Go, and read the last section.  The real question….Who do you hate?

The message of Jesus is to love your enemies, even if they're Samaritans.

Pray for the message today.  We're getting ready to roll.

I'll let you know how it goes.
