People of Walmart

***DISCLAIMER—NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART***

We started a new radio program yesterday with Castle Rock Radio in Denver.  I'm going to join the KORKAST program with Ryan Dobson every Thursday and Friday for some talk about Apologetics, Entertainment, Belief, and basic how to's of the Faith.

"Thinking Thursday" will stream live over the web at 4:00 CST at castlerockradio.com, and I'll be sure to update you on Twitter/Facebook.

Then Entertainment Fridays will cover the latest websites, television shows, movies, and basically anything that you do to have fun.  We want to show Christians it's ok to LAUGH!!  We'll be reviewing new stuff every week, so you won't want to miss out.

So Yesterday, I introduced one of a new website taking the world by storm.  http://www.peopleofwalmart.com.  It is HILARIOUS!!  Basically, a couple of college students started a blog where you can upload pictures of crazy scenes at Walmart.  Every time I see it I laugh. Because..

Every one of us have gone out to Walmart dressed in our pajamas.
Everyone of us has little nuances that separate us from normal.
Everyone has an outfit we're embarrassed for others to see us in, and we just don't think Walmart is a place where we'll get caught.

And the craziest part…I know I could be in one those pictures doing something I totally think is normal someday.

So check it out.  peopleofwalmart.com.  If you're easily offended, don't go.  There's a couple of pictures that are boarder line, but for the most part it's just having fun.

I think it's beautiful that God created all kinds.  Some we consider normal, while to others, normal is just a crazy picture for a silly website.

  1. I noticed you made a post about peopleofwalmart.com. Perhaps you might be interested in doing a follow up about People of Public Transit.

The public bus and subway systems are littered with amazing photo opportunities. Many of us have been sitting alone witnessing something amazing and only wishing we could share the experience with our friends. Well now you can!
    Thank you,
