Boys in Rwanda

It's official.  I'm heading to Rwanda on August 17th for a week with the Bishop.  Luke Parrott is coming with me, as we go to check out the youth scene in Africa.  We're so thankful for your support thus far.  Thanks for praying.  We got our tickets for $2300, so if the Lord prompts yo to give to a mission, this is going to be a great one to be on.

Our non-profit, AHAVA MINISTRIES, would love to write you a tax receipt for 2009 if God leads you to give.

We're excited to continue our relationship with the orphanages, the Sonrise school, and the future of youth ministry in this country ravished by genocide in 1994.  There's a sense of overwhelming hope right now, and there's SO MUCH good happening in this little gem of a country.

I can't wait to share this trip with you, as we'll be sure to keep up with videos to tell the story.

Thanks again for your prayers.

  1. Andy,
I’m excited to hear about your trip to Rwanda. I’ve looked at Kids across africa website several times in the last few weeks. Its amazing to see what God is up to there. I noticed that there is a woman’s trip planned for January. Since I will be in Uganda with “Children of Grace” ministry, in January, I thought it might be a good time to visit
KAA in Rwanda and learn more about the ministry there. Would you mention this to whoever’s in charge over there and see if we could set something up.
I’ll be praying for your trip.
