What to do with this?

After posting the video about global demographics, I received an unusual amount of e-mails and facebook messages trying to explain our position as people who follow Jesus, in a world where the Muslim birth rate is sure to, at the very least, change up the make up of common civilizations.  And then I got this…

A sign that reveals the world's feelings about those who follow Him.  What do you think about this?  Is it possible to be a person that stands in agreement of everything God says, but resigns themselves to staying away from the people who follow Him?

I think this is going to be the topic on the radio tomorrow at 4:00 CST.  We'll talk about Muslim population growth, a little about what our reputation is out in the world, and a little of John 11.

Hope you can join us at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/braner.  See you there.

  1. Andy-
Here is the thing I think that most people are forgetting about the whole issue, Jesus said this would happen!
    John 15:18-19 (New International Version)
    The World Hates the Disciples
18″If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
If you narrow it down…that sign is a lie. they do have something “against” God. Dark and Light cannot mix. We should be imitators of God, I get the point that some people are a little nuts, but the issue is SIN, and people that have sinful natures.

  2. this is my absolute biggest problem. it has driven my away from church after church over the years.
the people that are in a church and are going against everything i believe being a Christian stands for. being open minded, and accepting of EVERYONE.
i know one day i will find a church that is completely pure and loving like i want so badly. it’s just so hard because every single time i get burned by people in a church, it’s like starting my journey with God all over again. i begin questioning things, the people i’m associating myself with, and if what i’m believing in is a good thing.
currently i am past that, and am leading myself through the bible each day. it’s hard some days, but my faith has never been stronger.

Let me know what you think
