I was reading in John again this morning, for the 4th time already this year. “In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1
Isn’t it amazing to think about the beginning of all things? The Bible uses the Greek word Logos. In other words, everything that we see in the natural creation was with God in the beginning. It was the essence of God. It was the very nature of God. It was the life force of God. The Logos of God is everything we know.
I did a little research on the next verse. “Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men.” Isn’t it interesting tat the word life is the Greek word ‘ZOE.’ Zoe is the life force that fills all the creation. It’s the very nature of all we see in the beauty of creation.
Today, I’m overwhelmed.
I’m truly amazed by the wonder of all God’s creation.
The planets, He spun in his hand.
The stars, He hurled from his palm.
The Life, He breathed from His essence.
The beauty, He made from His own.
May we be people who step away from the leafs of life to recognize the forest.
May we understand the significance of everything around us as God’s ultimate creation.
May we form our foundation of truth on the life giver, instead of the life taker.
May God bless you today!
