Today has been A Crazy Day!!  I'm sorry it's been a while since I posted a new article here, but it's been one of those days where you don't know whether or not you're coming or going.  I've had the greatest encounters with people today from business operation stuff to just sitting down and sharing life.  It's been an extraordinary time.

The theme that continues to float to the surface of all my conversations today is Freedom.

Freedom in government.
Freedom in finances.
Freedom in Ministry.
Freedom in LIFE!

So the question I'm asking today is, How often to we really feel Free in our daily routines?

I know some people's definition of freedom happens to coincide with the ability to keep laws, check boxes, and be spot on with responsibilities; and certainly those are good things.  But, how many of us have the opportunity to raise our arms to the sky in the middle of the week, and just feel the oppressiveness of debt fade into history?  How many of us feel  Freedom at the workplace?  Or, how many of us can walk into our homes with a sense of freedom from whatever's going on there?

I'm convinced Jesus came to offer us Freedom.  He came to break the shackles of religious law and give us a sense that everything in the Universe was going to work out as long as we abide in the creator.  I was reading in John 8 today on my daily read, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

In a world where things tend to be crumbling all around us, I just want to pray for a sense of Freedom for you, and for me.  Remember, as circumstances become more and more tedious, the Creator is still sitting on the throne of the Universe, interested in making all things new again.

I choose Freedom today.  Won't you?

Let me know what you think
