Today was the last day of teaching. We wrapped up the four legs of worldview thought, and I tied them all together through a framework of seeing the world through the various lenses. It was quite profound when one of the students decided to use the example of friends, and I had the chance to walk with him through some of the decisions his friends were making.
This young teenager had the opportunity to walk through a response, using the four tenants of a worldview, and by the end; he was describing Jesus' story about the good Samaritan. It was awesome.
I'm sad it's over, but it's time to be getting back to the U.S. I have much work to do before the summer begins, and I'm anxiously waiting for the students who will come and be a part of the program this year.
Thanks again for praying.
Hopefully, I'll have a chance to post pictures when I reach Manila. The internet connection is a bit faster there. Until then….
May we continue to develop a desire to teach the next generation solid Biblical truth.
May we not hide from what we know to be right.
May we continue to forge friendships that carry the message of truth across the globe.
