I found this picture this morning on my Sat. morning news cruise. It's an image from the famed Hubble Telescope. Evidently looking deep into space, Hubble radioed back this version of two spiral galaxies on a collision course with one another, and it started my brain turning again.
What happens when two separate galaxies, millions of light years wide, decide to collide together?
The energy must be immeasurable!
There's no way these forces of nature can meet without causing a few ripples out in deep space. And that's the beauty of being an amateur astronomer. I can look at this and see the creation of God and truly marvel as the Psalmist said, "The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth His handiwork."
So when I see the creation acting improbable I wonder…
I wonder when the spiritual world collided, what kind of shock waves were sent throughout the universe?
Can you imagine?
The world was spinning in one direction, and God came on a collision course with humanity.
Surely the spiritual energy must have sent ripples through the universe.
Well, I don't want to get too philosophical here. I just saw a cool picture, and thought you might enjoy seeing another example of how HUGE the God is we serve.
