Through Him, all things were made; without Him nothing was made that was made. (Jn 1:3) In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. (1:4)
It's another place in John I'm thinking about today. As I look across the sea and feel the wind on my face, I think about all the things God made. He was in the midst of making all involved in the sea, the sky, the land, and all the tiny ecosystems that make up those delicate natural balances.
He began life. He gave light whereby the darkness would run from it.
Man, I wish I could have been there to see how this was done. Wouldn't it have been a great show to watch how the universe came into being?
And the connection here between God's Word (Jesus), and the creation of the universe can't be overlooked. At the center of all creation was this Spiritual being integrated into this physical place.
Once again, I'm thankful for this curious creation. I'm fascinated that the same God who was in the beginning, is still interested in acting in the world today.
Thank you for creating this planet.
Thank you for creating the light of life that exists inside mankind.
Thank you for a beautiful example of a God who keeps getting bigger every time I read this part of your Word.
